STS is a global company within travel and education that makes it possible for 8-19 year-olds to go out and discover the world, learn new languages, experience different cultures, grow in independence and self-confidence, and develop into true citizens of the world. We were the first company in the world to offer these opportunities and it is our strong belief that our products are more relevant now than ever.
Most companies sell products or services, but we offer our clients life-changing experiences and the chance to grow and develop in important ways, and as STS employees it is our duty and privilege to accompany them as they discover the world for themselves. Keeping it in the family
Since its beginnings, 60 years ago, STS has remained a family-owned company, a fact which permeates every aspect of our operations and mentality. Like with any family, there are traditions, inside jokes, friendly rivalries and lots of laughs. We work hard and play hard, push each other to be our best, share each other’s challenges and successes, and know that we can always count on one another for support and encouragement.
A good working environment is everything to us. At HQ, when you need a break we encourage you to work on becoming the next ping pong world champion in the Marketing department or develop your inner horticulturist over in Operations (all departments are also strongly encouraged to hone their baking skills and share the fruits of their labour).
